Annual Meeting

Each November the Friends of Kentucky Libraries holds a meeting to which all FKL members are invited. Not only do we conduct the business of the Friends of Kentucky Libraries, but we also offer workshops on topics of interest to local Chapters and present our awards for Outstanding Friend of the Library and Outstanding Friends Chapter. Visit our Awards page for pictures of our winners and learn how to nominate an Outstanding Friend!

Legislative Meet & Greets

The Friends of Kentucky Libraries sponsor an award-winning event each fall that brings together the people who use Kentucky’s libraries and their state and local Legislators, so that no one is left out when it comes to advocating for Kentucky’s libraries and their users. View pictures and learn more.

Library Legislative Day

Each year we encourage our members and friends to participate in Library Legislative Day in Frankfort. The Kentucky Public Library Association provides information about proposed legislation having an impact on libraries, and library supporters visit their legislators to discuss the issues. Learn about the issues and impact of this important day.
