Advocacy

Library Advocacy is one of the core functions of the Friends of Kentucky Libraries. We work to ensure that your voice and the voice of other library supporters is heard so our public libraries can offer the services needed in our communities. We advocate for public libraries on the local, state, and federal level. We periodically offer training in advocacy and share examples of effective advocacy efforts.
